Joe Kaplan
Co-Founder and CEO

Joe Kaplan, 47, is Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of eGolfScore, the #1 wireless golf scoring company in the U.S. He is a thought leader in marketing wireless products and services, participating as a panelist at key wireless & business conferences. Joe is also an Online Faculty member for the University of Phoenix Online, a pioneer in online education, teaching courses in Strategic Marketing, Strategy Formulation, and e-Business.
He was recently SVP & Chief Marketing Officer of a major operating group of CIT, the largest publicly traded commercial finance company in the world. Joe had joined Newcourt Financial (which was acquired by CIT in November of 1999) as Vice President of Marketing in 1998. Prior to Newcourt Financial, Joe was founder and President of TSB Strategic Management Group. Joe has held a variety of marketing and finance positions during his professional career.
Joe's diverse background includes a Product Manager position with Western Union, a $400m financial services company. Joe's responsibilities included working closely with sales managers and field sales personnel to design national sales promotions and marketing partnerships. During this time, he created an innovative marketing and promotional program for one of the most successful documentaries ever, Hoop Dreams.
From 1988 to 1994, Joe worked at RJR Nabisco, Inc. where he was a Marketing Executive, involved with several major brands including Milk-Bone pet snacks and Grey Poupon mustard. His responsibilities included developing sales and promotional programs, as well as preparing extensive marketing plans involving all facets of consumer, advertising and trade promotions. Joe also worked in several financial and planning positions at Nabisco, including Financial Analyst and Corporate Business Planning Manager for the CEO.
Earlier in Joe’s career, he held the position of Assistant to the Chairman of an aggressive $100m financial services holding company. In this position he was responsible for analyzing all new business proposals for insurance, leasing and venture capital subsidiaries.
Joe earned his MBA in Finance from Rutgers University Graduate School of Management in 1989. He also earned a BA in Economics and English from Rutgers College in 1983.

Dan Mohn
Co-Founder and CTO

Daniel Mohn, 43, is the CTO of eGolfScore. Prior to eGolfScore, Dan was the president of Mohn Software Design, located in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. Dan earned his BA in Informational Science from Moravian College, while working at a full time day job. Dan started his IS career working at a job shop as an information specialist. Within 2 years, he was the Controller of the 100-person operation.
Dan left this job in 1992 to start his own software consulting firm. Dan has worked for clients including Western Union, Merck, AT&T, Nabisco, Bayer, ClubComputer.com, University of Pittsburgh and Air Products.
Dan earned his BA in Information Systems from Moravian College in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania in 1993.
Dan has worked closely with the leading wireless carriers in North America, developing cutting edge wireless technology applications. eGolfScore's wireless scoring product is the #1 product in the industry.

Kathryn Kaplan
Accounting & Office Manager

Kathryn Kaplan is the Accounting and Office Manager of eGolfScore. She has been with eGolfScore since inception in May 2000. Kathryn manages all the daily bookkeeping operations and works closely with the executive team to support them in many areas.
Prior to this, she handled all the bookkeeping operations for TSB Strategic Management Group for several years.
Kathryn worked at Ethicon Pharmaceutical where she assisted in the training of sales representatives in endoscopic surgery, as well as processing study proposals for animal request transmittals per Institutional Care and Use Committee (IACUC) requirements.
Kathryn has a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science and is a graduate of Rutgers University, Cook College.
In her spare time, Kathryn is always trying to convince the CEO of eGolfScore to let her be a stay-at-home mom. She loves to keep busy with her three boys and enjoys all their sports games, volunteering for their schools and getting involved with their summer activities.

Ben Kaplan
Creative Manager

Ben Kaplan is a student at Hunterdon Central Regional High School in Flemington, NJ. He has excelled in many subjects, but he has done very well in mathematics and computer classes in particular.
At eGolfScore, Ben provides support in several areas including sales, marketing and promotional materials, presentations, and templates. Ben develops all of the event logos, sponsor graphics and other event support materials for all eGolfScore event clients. In addition, Ben is very involved in eGolfScore's website, including layout, design, and all website graphics support.
In his spare time, Ben enjoys building new computers from scratch and has created gaming websites to support his love of online gaming competition.
